William Lockie is one of Scotland's oldest family-run luxury knitwear companies, based in Hawick. Rich in history and tradition, it has been operating as a family run business since 1974. The secret of William Lockie's success is the precision of a unique manufacturing process, coupled with the highest quality raw materials - cashmere, camelhair, geelong, lambswool and, in summer, a rare blend of cashmere and linen.

Here is the "Devon" knitted polo made from the finest merino wool. William Lockie uses a yarn from the Loro Piana yarn spinning mill for this polo. 14 micron Tasmania Merino Extra Fine, knitted on William Lockie's historic knitting machines. This combination creates a full and soft feel despite its fineness, with a wonderfully fine texture. The best knitting art from Scotland in a marriage with the finest Italian yarn spinning.
