Il MICIO - The kitten. The name comes from Hidekata Fukaya's great admiration for this noble animal and his artistic skills, combined with the free spirit of a kitten.
Since his childhood, Hidekata has dedicated himself to making objects and his skillful craftsmanship is reflected in his work and has been described by him in one sentence: "Original craftsmanship that no one can copy".
In 1999, he founded Il Micio, started his own business as a bespoke shoemaker and, with the help of the legendary Tie Your Tie founder Franco Minicci, set up his own store in Florence.
Meticulous attention to detail, the finest design, flawless workmanship and impeccable craftsmanship are the hallmarks of his products.
Here is a small "Vaschetto" tray in hand-woven Tuscan Vacchetta leather. A wonderful piece that will enrich your living space and is perfect for storing your keys and other utensils.
