MJ'S DETAILS

London shaped fashion in the mid-1960s with extreme clothing styles and leather jackets had lost their military character. They now had a simpler cut and often featured a Mao or officer's collar. The colors were mostly black or brown.

The "Blouson Anglais" shown here is the simplest model in the Chapal collection. With its two stripes, this simple shape is reminiscent of the jackets worn in motor racing in the 1960s and the winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
