MJ'S DETAILS

This suit by Cesare Attolini is made of "Solaro" wool. 

The fabric, featuring a herringbone pattern and a characteristic reddish-brown sheen, was produced at the Smith Woollens mill in England. Historically significant fabrics have been woven there since 1921.

Thanks to its soft texture, the fabric conforms beautifully to the wearer's natural body shape and offers exceptional comfort.

What makes this "Solaro Napoletano" suit so special is its rolling 4x1 "buttoning"—a nod to our role model and gentleman icon Gianni Agnelli, who loved to wear this style of double-breasted suit.

With the "Il Avvocato" edition, we pay tribute to the magnificent style of the unforgettable Gianni Agnelli!

In its double-breasted style with a richly cut lapel, you can wear it with a striped tie as the perfect “travel suit,” or pair it with a knit polo for a stylishly smart-casual look. 

Typical details include the slightly wider, rolled lapels—a hallmark of the Neapolitan jacket that gives the wearer a perfect silhouette.

The origins of Cesare Attolini date back to the 1930s, when Vincenzo Attolini reinterpreted the tailoring world in Naples. By stripping the jacket of its rigidity, he invented not just a new silhouette, but an entirely new way of life. Over the decades, his son Cesare refined this craft, consistently expanding upon his father's visionary mastery. Today, Massimiliano and Giuseppe Attolini carry this heritage into the third generation. In their Casalnuovo atelier, 130 tailors produce a mere 50 suits a day by uncompromising hand—a dogma illustrating that, for this house, quality is never negotiable.
