I have a very special connection with Saint Crispin's. When the former founder visited me at my old place of work over 20 years ago, I became his first customer and have been with the product from the very beginning.

Today, Phillip Car runs the company and has made it world-famous. In the small workshop in Brasov, Romania, a few employees produce less than 1500 pairs of shoes a year in a family atmosphere. Over 400 steps are lovingly put together by hand to create such a small work of art.

Today, the circle of shoe aficionados considers Saint Crispin's to be among the best shoes in the world and we are happy to be able to offer these wonderful works of art.

Here is a model that could only be created through our friendly partnership with Phillip Car and Thomas Riemer. Thomas Riemer made it possible for us to acquire a few skins of the increasingly rare leather and Phillip Car took over the processing of the "Short Vamp Tassel" loafer curated by Michael Jondral. The result was a wonderful project, the "Iconic MJ-Peccary Tassel".

PECCARY LEATHER: The source of this extraordinary leather is a wild boar from South America. Peccary is highly prized for its extreme softness, its waxy grain surface and its loose "woolly" fiber structure. A leather that combines extreme durability with maximum comfort.
