Padmore & Barnes was founded in 1934 and has now been synonymous with artisan shoemaking for generations.

From 1964 to 1987, the company was owned by C&J Clarks. During this time, the iconic "Wallabee" shoes were designed and manufactured in the Padmore and Barnes factory. Since that time, Padmore & Barnes has been manufacturingthe legendary "Wallabee", in the same shape and with the same hand-stitched details as originally developed.
