The secret of William Lockie's success is the precision of a unique manufacturing process, coupled with the very highest quality raw materials - cashmere, camelhair, geelong, lambswool and, in summer, a rare blend of cashmere and linen.

Here is the knitted polo "Devon" made of the finest merino wool. William Lockie processes a yarn from the yarn spinning mill of Loro Piana for this polo. 14 Micron Tasmania-Merino Extrafine, knitted on William Lockie's historic knitting machines. In this combination, with all the fineness, a full and soft handle is created, with a wonderfully fine fabric appearance at the same time. The best knitting art from Scotland in a marriage with the finest Italian yarn spinning.
